ALBUM DESIGN

Post-production Element

Missing Element’s award-winning Graphic Engineers provide custom designs for flush-mount albums. Utilizing your established Studio Profile, we create an image presentation that your clients will love and cherish for years. We strive to be a trusted resource for your studio, to help you get away from the computer and back behind the camera so that you can love shooting, again. The skill sets of our experienced and artistic team members are combined with market trends to provide a design that is timeless in concept and cutting-edge in execution. Album Design preferences can utilize traditional or modern concepts and layouts, colored themes, low opacity backgrounds, layered designs, background textures, simplicity or complexity, the sky is the limit in what we can design for you. Each album is custom designed using Adobe® Photoshop® to give your albums a one-of-a-kind look and feel that matches the branding of your images and your studio, all without the use of templates.

missingElement offers three different levels of Album Design: Dmitri, Meyer, and Lavoisier. The three levels of design affect the amount of post production that is applied to the images, but does not necessarily affect the layout. A Dmitri design consists of a custom layout using the images you provide, without alterations. A Meyer design receives the same level of attention to the custom layout, but also includes image enhancements such as basic retouching, skin softening, dodging & burning, etc. Finally, a Lavoisier design includes everything that a Meyer design does, but tends to have more of a theme to it, and includes more extensive image editing such as textures, background elements, rounded corners, etc.

Your Studio Profile is an organic and perpetually evolving collection of preferences that are based on your particular studio’s branding, style and personal specifications.

All Album Design services have a ten business-day turn-around time. Rush services are available for those last-minute jobs.
